Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Keepy ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
Keepy is a personal memory-keeping application that allows you to store photos, PDFs, notes, quotes, and other meaningful items privately on your device. The app offers a free tier (up to 20 keepsakes) and an optional premium subscription ("Keepy Pro") that unlocks unlimited keepsakes, quote creation, home screen widgets, and additional features. The app is provided "as is" and may be updated or modified at our discretion.
3. User Content
You retain full ownership of all content you create, import, or store in Keepy. Your content is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any cloud service. You are solely responsible for the content you store and for maintaining backups of your data. Keepy does not offer cloud backup or cross-device sync — if you delete the app or lose your device, your content cannot be recovered.
4. Subscriptions & Purchases
Keepy offers premium features ("Keepy Pro") through auto-renewable subscriptions via the Apple App Store. Subscription periods and pricing are displayed in the app prior to purchase. By subscribing:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription will automatically continue and renew until you cancel it. You must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period to avoid being charged for the next period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions).
- Keepy Pro may include a free trial period. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement and App Store refund policies.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from the app
- Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in Keepy, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, are owned by us. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Keepy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for any loss of data stored on your device.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our interests.
