Privacy Policy
Effective date: February 14, 2026
1. Introduction
Keepy ("we", "our", or "the app") is a personal memory-keeping application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information We Collect
Data stored locally. All content you create in Keepy — including photos, PDFs, notes, quotes, and other keepsakes — is stored exclusively on your device using on-device storage. We do not have access to this content. It is never uploaded to our servers or any cloud service.
No account required. Keepy does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal identifiers.
Device permissions. Keepy may request access to your camera and photo library solely to let you add photos to your keepsake collection. These permissions are optional and can be revoked at any time in your device Settings. We do not access your camera or photo library for any other purpose.
3. Subscription & Payment Data
Keepy offers optional premium features ("Keepy Pro") through auto-renewable subscriptions managed by Apple via the App Store. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage and verify subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase transaction data to verify your subscription. RevenueCat provides the same or equivalent level of data protection as described in this policy. We do not receive or store your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.
4. Analytics & Tracking
Keepy does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or crash reporting SDKs. We do not collect usage analytics, behavioral data, or crash reports.
Keepy does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework because we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not collect or use the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties. The only third-party services that receive any data are:
- Apple — processes all App Store purchase transactions (required by the platform).
- RevenueCat — receives anonymous subscription and transaction data to manage your subscription status. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
No other data is shared with any third party.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
Your content. All keepsakes, photos, notes, and quotes are stored locally on your device. This data exists for as long as you keep it. You can delete any individual item at any time within the app, or delete all data by uninstalling the app.
Subscription data. RevenueCat retains anonymous subscription transaction records in accordance with their privacy policy. Apple retains purchase history as part of your Apple ID account.
Requesting deletion. Since we do not store your data on our servers, there is no server-side data to delete. To remove all locally stored data, simply delete the app from your device. If you wish to request deletion of anonymous subscription records held by RevenueCat, please contact us at support@keepy-box.app and we will process your request.
7. Data Security
Your content is stored locally on your device and its security is governed by your device's built-in protections (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, device encryption). We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a strong passcode. Keepy does not transmit your content over the internet.
8. Children's Privacy
Keepy is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@keepy-box.app.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
